Dates Halwa

Ingredients:
  • Dates - 1 cup
  • Cashews - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk
  • Ghee
Method:
  1. Cook dates in water until it softens
  2. Soak cashews in water for 1/2 hr
  3. Grind cooked dates with milk in a blender
  4. Grind cashews with milk
  5. Mix ground dates, cashews and sugar. Make sure the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Now, cook the mixture until it becomes thick on medium heat. Keep stirring to avoid charring the bottom. Add ghee when the mixture is about to thicken.
