Cashew and Pistachio Halwa




Ingredients
  • Cashew - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Saffron - 1 tsp (soak in warm water)
Method
  1. Grind cashew with milk to make it a paste
  2. In a pan, add sugar and water. Boil until one string consistency.
  3. Add cashew paste and Saffron
  4. Cook until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
For Pistachio: It's the same recipe. Don't add Saffron.
