Cashew and Pistachio Halwa
Ingredients
- Cashew - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Saffron - 1 tsp (soak in warm water)
- Grind cashew with milk to make it a paste
- In a pan, add sugar and water. Boil until one string consistency.
- Add cashew paste and Saffron
- Cook until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
For Pistachio: It's the same recipe. Don't add Saffron.
