Rava Idli

Ingredients: (approx 6 idlis)
  1. white rava - 1 cup
  2. semolina(semiya) - 1/2 cup
  3. slightly sour curd - 1 1/2 cup
  4. green chilli paste - as needed
  5. baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  6. curry leaves
  7. coriander leaves
  8. ghee - 1 tbsp
  9. salt
For seasoning:
  1. mustard (kadugu)
  2. urad dhal
  3. channa dhal
  4. cashews
  5. raw peanuts
Method:
  1. Roast rava and semiya in little bit of ghee
  2. Saute the seasonings in oil
  3. Mix curd, baking soda, salt & little bit of oil in a separate vessel
  4. Pour this curd mixture in the roasted rava and semiya and add the seasoning to this.
  5. Add finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves
  6. pour this batter into idli plates
  7. steam it for 10-15 mins in medium flame
Serve it with coconut chutney.
